‘Deadpool 2’ to launch on October 4, 2019 at a whopping $1.8 billion worldwide, according to Disney’s own figures

It’s official: Deadpool 2 is set to debut in 2019, according a new report from Deadline.

According to the report, the Deadpool sequel is set for a whopping first-weekend box office of $1,867 million, which would rank it as the second-highest-grossing film of the decade.

Deadpool 2 will mark the fourth Deadpool film after 2016’s Deadpool and 2017’s Deadpool 2.

The sequel will reportedly be the first film in the series to have a female lead, with Marilou Danley’s character Rose Tyler appearing in the sequel.

The film will also feature a number of female supporting characters, including the titular mutant, who also appears in the first two Deadpool films.

The movie will debut to a massive $9 million opening weekend, with Deadpool 2 earning $18.3 million.

The second Deadpool film, Deadpool 3, was released to limited release on September 22, 2019, and earned $24.6 million.
